CONVERSION OF ALUMINIUM MELTING FURNACE FROM ELECTRICAL HEATING TO LPG FIRED COMBUSTION

Pain Areas:
- Maintenance cost is high.
- Electricity charges are comparatively higher than PNG.
Action taken by PES:
- Survey of Site.
- Executed a Demo for Customer.
- Demo consisted of a Kit from PES along with Burner Model MP-6, Gas Train & Control Panel.
- After successful trial, customer confirmed an order to PES for 12 Burners.
Based on trial firing, PES suggested the solution for combustion system comprising of:
- Nu-way Burner MP-6
- Control Panel with mounting stand.
- Mounting Plate Modification.
- Blower with mounting Stand.
- Gas-Train with all complete security and safety associated with the application.
Results:
Payback Period: 14 Months
Savings in fuel
